While going West on Route 422 you will see the top half of an old abandoned mansion to your left. That beautiful building is named The Kennedy-Supplee Mansion. It used to be a restaurant that went bankrupt in 2005, and ever since then it has just been sitting there; empty. Naturally, I wanted to know why. Why hasn’t anyone else taken the space? What makes this building so special? What I found, I never would have guessed. An entire town erased, an asbestos outbreak, and a large cave full of fossils! This is the Disappearance of Port Kennedy. || SOCIAL MEDIA || INSTAGRAM: @ronirose_910 || MUSIC || DEEP SPACE GARDEN ~ Rand Aldo : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/eb0d85eb-0a13-4547-9bed-a41f4c50daf0/ MAGMA ~ Lama House : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/c9161df1-eb49-41fe-b559-e6784b0138d8/ CAREFUL CONSIDERATION ~ Jon Bjork : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/01de9e71-9581-3d5e-bfbd-2a53b4789fb5/ HISTORY (INSTRUMENTAL VERSION) ~ King Sis : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/1e7076d3-9d47-4c6e-b30b-3af17f2ef80e/ BOUND TO FALL APART ~ Jon Bjork : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/ecb4e639-62bc-3f2c-b48f-53c23b5b8cf0/ REVITALIZE ~ Yonder Dale : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/39923461-3772-4d47-81c1-08c4ac8519b2/ OF SOBER MIND ~ Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/108570a3-3998-460a-a0c1-6da2f31f1fb5/ TAKING ME HIGH, TAKING ME LOW (INSTRUMENTAL VERSION) ~ Gold Flow : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/3f7607c1-7091-372a-b082-473731049918/ EYES IN THE DARK ~ Farrell Wooten : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/fce14e96-bd93-3ee4-90ca-81d34754fe83/ THE INNERNESS OF AN INSIDE ~ Luella Gren : https://www.epidemicsound.com/music/tracks/f4493833-a79d-4c7a-b510-5597b4be81f6/ || SOUND EFFECTS || COMPUTER ERROR, GLITCHY, PROCESSING, FUTURISTIC : https://www.epidemicsound.com/sound-effects/tracks/30943737-9492-45ab-8ca5-3424318e8bd7/ IMPACT, THUD, DEEP, LOW FREQUENCY : https://www.epidemicsound.com/sound-effects/tracks/0a1797db-7ca1-4527-9db3-c1d76b7d89ca/

The Appalachian Mountains, these mountains are one of the oldest mountains on the planet, predating the whole continent of North America itself. So, of course, there are some scary and unexplainable legends attached to this vast rock formation. Today I will be explaining four urban legends from the Appalachian region. || SOCIAL MEDIA || INSTAGRAM: @ronirose_910 || SOURCES || FLATWOODS MONSTER MUSEUM: https://braxtonwv.org/the-flatwoods-monster/visit-the-museum/ https://www.blueridgeoutdoors.com/features/appalachian-legends/ https://www.thepostathens.com/article/2022/11/fascinating-urban-legends-appalachia https://blueridgemountainstravelguide.com/appalachian-folklore-and-superstitions/ https://earthsky.org/earth/ball-lightning-lightning-atmosphere-earth-optik/ https://www.sleuthsayers.org/2017/07/the-moon-eyed-people.html https://blog.library.wales/the-moon-eyed-people/ https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/51476 https://www.history.com/news/flatwoods-monster-west-virginia https://braxtonwv.org/the-flatwoods-monster/ https://www.appalachianhistory.net/2017/10/story-of-wampus-cat.html https://americanfolklore.net/folklore/2010/08/the_wampus_cat.html https://medium.com/@Charlie_OBrien/the-wampus-cat-a-brief-history-627af5763969 https://mountainlore.net/2018/05/21/the-wampus-cat/ https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Appalachian_Mountains https://www.arc.gov/about-the-appalachian-region/ || MUSIC || ACROSS THE LAND ~ Colton Walls : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/hS6CXvTuoa/ ZOMBIES FROM OUTER SPACE ~ Wave Saver : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/OysT7S5rit/ LOW FIDELITY SPACE WAVES ~ ELFL : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/lHWBGntdcW/ BACKWEIGHT ~ Jay Varton : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/zgHmZxPoGm/ OUT OF NOWHERE ~ Jay Varton : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/2OgMwZN4Rp/ THE FRIENDLY GHOST ~ Arthur Benson : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/1Gw9op6eul/ STRANGER DAYS ~ Alexandra Woodward : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/lYE7gBVIoP/ MYSTERIOUS FOREST ~ Howard Harper-Barnes : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/jR4dVTZ5wr/ THE INNERNESS OF AN INSIDE ~ Luella Gren : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/6Mt6CG7VnY/ || SOUND EFFECTS || BABY CRY 7 ~ Epidemic Sound Effect : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/qFg1dB8MoK/ SWORD BATTLE 4 ~ Epidemic Sound Effect : https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/p0i8lCbHHf/
